The Surface Nanoengineering Lab (SNL) features a state-of-the-art equipment for the characterization of materials and biological response at the micro- and nanoscale. It consists of a confocal Raman microscope integrated with an Atomic Force (AFM) and a Near-Field Optical (NSOM-SNOM) microscopies. In addition if features a FTIR spectrometer and equipment for cell cultures.
